Mr Sate - Kalkbaai iNingizimu Afrika

Ive ordered food from Mr Sate too many times to count. The Bubur Ayam is always comforting and great for nursing me back to health. I will admit some days the quality and flavor seems better than others and today it was 10/10! They pack the bubur ayam and the soups in a layered container so that condiments can be added per preference and stay fresh, which is much appreciated. The Soto Betawi was also delicious as usual. I tried Tempe Mendoan for the first time and it was delicious with the accompanying sauce.

Ive been a huge fan of simpang asia for literally decades. but theyre pricey. so when i saw this less expensive version of an indonesian restaurant, with some of my favorites on the menu: yes please! but when delivered: no thank you! everything was awful. Nasi Bungkus was overcooked and underseasoned. i cant even describe what a horror the Gado Gado Salad was. Es Cendol far too much sugar. Chicken Sate overcooked and a disgusting sauce. i used to live in southeast asia, and simpang asia gets it right. mr sate is a million miles from right.

Short Rib Sate was surprisingly awesome. Perkedel was a perfect appetizer

Great food, never fails. The Mie Goreng Combo or Nasi Goreng Combo is my go-to order. Their thai tea is also amazing.

Very flavorful and noodles are not soggy
