There are many restaurants on Vermont Ave. but we usually tend to visit one or two. This night we found Electric Lotus, not intending to have Indian food. It was a very fortuitous discovery. Starting with vegetable samosas large with a variety of chutneys a great way to start dinner. The garlic chicken tikka had a nice spice to it. A very large platter with rice, vegetables and chicken. This was followed by lamb Vindaloo with its thick well spiced sauce and large pieces of lamb and potatoes. Rice, naan and Indian beer completed our dinner. We'll be back.
