Daves Hot Chicken

Visiting LA and we?ve already been here THREE times cause it is so delicious! very small menu which makes it easy! heat level and toppings are customizable which is super helpful when splitting a combo between two people. don?t be fooled, the ?sliders? are full sized sammiches!! also the kale slaw is amazingggg

Decided to try here because of the good ratings and I was happy, very yum. It can be pretty hot too, I got 1 mild and 1 regular and even the mild had a lil kick to it. I enjoyed the food and it was filling. There isn?t any tables inside for Covid but the outside seating is covered so it felt good. I would recommend as a quick bite to eat.

This was my partners first time at Dave's and it was a disappointment. The hot chicken sandwich was yummy and the ambiance was cool, but we ordered ahead and the option for cheese on the sandwich wasn't available, the cheese fries only had ONE line of cheese, and everything was more expensive when ordering ahead through Doordash. It was a complete disappointment. The ambiance is cool, but that's about it.

Half the fries were missing! This staff is really nice always but the kitchen has really gone downhill. Not close to how good it was when they first opened barely any fries, what?s going on?

I liked it. If you like super spicy then I suggest getting 1 reaper and 1 extra hot. Fries are really good and packed with flavor. Only negative is that the slider is just a chicken tender on bun, would have preferred a chicken breast but the tender is pretty large.
