We were looking for dinner before a show at the Ace Theater, and all of the restaurants were fully booked. I remembered that the Golden Gopher allowed outside food and we thought this truck outside the bar had really interesting items! I ordered Birria Ramen and my husband ordered a California Burrito.Holy were both of them delicious! My ramen was served in a huge container wrapped in plastic, and I sadly could only finish about 1/4 of it even though I was hungry. There was SO MUCH birria that there was meat in every bite, as well as a generous amount of cheese. I actually had to dig to find noodles.... which was the cheapest part! It was so hot, flavorful, and comforting.... this is exactly what I want next time I'm home on a rainy day. I don't know what it was about the burrito that was so good, but it was outstanding... the fries and asada were both crispy and you could tell that everything was fresh. I don't know why this truck has such a low rating... I think the rude woman that other reviewers are talking about is gone. I actually went back after we left the bar to thank the 2 guys for such good food and to tell them it was bomb, and they seemed really happy to hear that. The food was most definitely 5 stars, but the prices were a little steep. Our two items totaled $35 with a normal tip. They don't post prices on the truck, and I was a little surprised to spend this much.
