Celestial Witch Grill

We hadn't returned to the Celestial cafe for some time as we had been disappointed by it less then great quality and service as it had had previously. We decided to again try it for dinner with friends. While the service was attentive and very pleasant it did not seem to be detail oriented. One dish served contained an ingredient specifically mentioned as unwanted. When the owner/chef passed by the table, the dishe was replaced but the replacement was clearly smaller then the original serving. The bartender did not seem to know how to prepare a very common drink and while replaced it still was lacking in an important ingredient. Their very good chowder was served lukewarm which detracted from its quality. The previously enjoyed chicken Parmesan grinder had a good crusty roll but lacked enough sauce, cheese was a blob in the middle of the chicken, not distributed and the chicken was tough and seems to have been previously frozen and it too, was served cool. A hamburger was not prepared as requested and the meat quality was not great. They were out of one common wine but their wine selection was good. It is painful to find a previously preferred and fine restaurant not live up to its former quality. Prices as everywhere have greatly increased, however the quality did not justify them. We aren't rushing back.

Definitely worth the trip. The menu is varied and creative as they have everything from authentic Jambalaya to an imaginative Eggplant tower. The waitstaff was attentive and well versed about the menu. From the first bite to the last you will be planning your next visit.

We haven't been to the Celestial Cafe in years, but decided to go when we saw the excellent recent reviews. The menu is more extensive everything we tried was very good and the portions were large. We had to share an appetizer and main course more than adequate. They now have 20 beers on tap something for everyone. The service was friendly. Overall, a very good experience.

We just had dinner at Celestial Cafe tonight. This was the 9th Farm to Table dinner we have done. As always the food was fantastic! The staff is always friendly and professional. Nice to see you all without masks!

I have dined at Celestial Cafe several times and the food is consistently excellent. The ingredients used are always very fresh and of high quality. We have had Mark as our server the last two times and he is very accommodating. We will ask for him on our next night out at the Cafe. If you like quality food this Cafe is a must.
