Seasalt Dining - Kaleen

Our family dined at Sea Salt tonight and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant is well set out and the service is first class. The food we ordered was delicious and great value for money. Looking forward to to another dining experience at Sea Salt and a special thank you to Chris????

This experience was average. A number of items on the menu were not available but we were not told before hand, leading to disappointment. Steak was tough and salmon overlooked. Desert of sticky date was tasty but nothing unique. Expensive for what is being delivered.

Portions are not as generous as Ellacure so ordering Entrée, main, and dessert will not leave you in a food coma. Service is great. Nice recommendation of specials. Order the salmon and I have to comment that the breadcrumbs drowned the flavour and the presentation of the fish. Otherwise, very nice retreat in Bruce!

Hidden away under an apartment complex near Canberra GIO stadium is Seasalt so unless you are looking for it then you are unlikely to come across it by chance nor realise it is there.We really enjoyed this restaurant, both the menu and the service were excellent. It is a good menu with a variety of offerings from salads to pasta to fish to steaks. You would be hard pressed not to find something to your liking. Staff were very helpful, attentive and friendly. It's an open kitchen so you can see who is in there and what is going on. I like to watch at times how kitchens operate and throughout this evening the chefs were cool, calm and collected and in control of the meals and throughput - no panic, no hassle. Service of meals was timely and starters came as starters and mains as mains, not all at once as seems to be becoming the norm in some parts of town. The presentation was good, dishes were full of flavour, the steak was done as I like it and again very flavoursome and tender and we all commented on the generous servings. There were good kids and vegetarian options on offer as well. A good wine list to compliment the meal was appreciated and while we did not stay for dessert (too full!) this was available and again there seemed to be a good range there as well. Very enjoyable experience. Breakfasts and lunches are available and we will return for these at some time and there is also an outdoor area presumably usable in the better weather/daytime.

O restaurante fica um pouco longe do centro, e quando chegamos não tinha ninguém. Entramos e fomos super bem atendidos. Pedimos um prato que vinha de tudo um pouco, não me lembro o nome. Mas veio muita comida, achávamos que seria pouco, mas o chef caprichou nas quantidades e comemos demais, sobrando comida. O vinho estava delicioso também. Super recomendo.
