Zig Zag Cafe - Kalamunda

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, and the coffee and food were of good quality. I found the service to be good, contrary to what I had heard in other reviews.

A charming, contemporary café located next to the newly built visitor center and library in the heart of Kalamunda. The food is consistently of high quality.

Local residents suggested we visit this cafe before our departure from the area. The cafe had recently changed ownership and the transformation seemed to be successful. We enjoyed delicious coffee and a variety of creative and flavorful light meals made with high-quality ingredients. The pleasant atmosphere added to the overall enjoyable dining experience.

Small, clean, new, friendly staff and the food looked good but I just needed coffee on a very cold day. Service was prompt and how refreshing to see a decent-sized cup of coffee for my $4. Plenty of papers to read, and I must say the food did look good. Lovely clean facilities are right next door, too.

Anthony serves a mean cup of flat white, always hot, and I like my coffee hot, and he always has a friendly word. Interesting Irish dishes served here. It is not cheap, but is good value.
