Me and my partner did a cooking class with Liza and it was one of the best ones we ever had! Having only spoken briefly on the phone to confirm the type of menu (Greek) and any food allergies, we were welcomed warmly the next day at Buon Amici by Liza and it felt like we were long lost friends coming home. The food we cooked was delicious and everything was explained clearly as we went along. During the class, Liza served their own produced wine and olive oil, which I can highly recommend and we ended the class enjoying the food together and chatting away. We again are fortunate to be back in kalimaki and obviously we had to visit Bon Amici again last night as we did twice back in July and have done every year in the last 10. As always we are greeted with the best of welcome from Julian on the entrance and instantly from Nikos when we enter. Our food, we both had the muscles with the most amazing sauce, we both said could have eat it over and over again. My wife had pasta with sausage of the menu , which she said was beautiful and I had the pasta off the special board with spinach and Roquefort cheese, I could not believe have how a dish with only a few ingredients could taste so good. Again, I felt I could have eaten it again but I was stuffed at this point! I have just read a negative review that must be clearly from someone who knows nothing about wine or they may have ordered a bottle of something odd because if they had ordered Nikos’s own wine there is no way they could leave a negative comment. His wine is by far the best anywhere on the island. Actually, in all the years we have been travelling to Greece we have never had anything that tastes that good. Whether it’s red, white or rose they are the best. We have absolutely nothing negative to say about anything with this restaurant,we love it. Thank you , see you soon. The food was great, but one of the waiters was very jumpy and seemed annoyed by our questions about the allergens, which made the experience overall worse. The other staff members were very nice Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
