Some really good Chinese! The wontons and pork were very good. There's also a deli inside that has burgers. The Terri burger was very good and juicy. The baked good are also great. A must stop if you’re on Kauai. Some of the best Chinese food I have ever had. This nondescript place is on the main highway between Lihue and Waimea Canyon. Go to the canyon in the morning to beat the heat and the crowds and on your way back stop here for lunch. Great portions for a good price and did I mention the pie for dessert?!?!?! You can’t go wrong. A local recommended it and they were spot on. Enjoy. Mahalo. It was good when I was a kid. Not so much anymore. It’s like lunchables. Great as a kid but sucks now. Flys always in the food which is a big turn off for me. It was manageable till they changed some of the ingredients. Now it’s not worth it. It’s kinda hard to just walk out and not order too so I usually get something cheap and throw it to the chickens. Undercooked specials too. Be willing to wait 15 mins for cold food that was supposedly just cooked.

If you are Chinese, my mom will sniff you out and gravite towards you just so she can connect and speak to you in Cantonese. The owners spoke Cantonese and my mom went to town speaking in her native tongue with them. That's how my mama rolls : . Fun find! This review is for their jeanduey (deep fried mochi balls . They fried them fresh from the fryer for us. They are jumbo sized. They filled it with savory delicious bbq pork. And we also ordered the sweet peanut butter filled one too. Both delicious and was a fun find for Kauai. Someday we will come back to try their bbq offerings and hot plate selections.
