Bidra med feedbackTerrible service. They acted fake when we did go. They don 't tell you everything is VEGAN. So it tasted like just flour. Business closed down.. I can see why. Now since the business is unoccupied, it has the words written 100 times- gay rights, trans rights for all the KEIKI to see. They are mad they went out of business, and leave political and very UN ALOHA messages on their window. Including BLM slogan. They were full of hate, political divisiveness perversion and bitterness. So we all bid a farewell ALOHA to you Seattle style FREAKS. You could not change Hawaii into Oregon goodbye! Everything WOKE turns to s And WE SUPPORT HPD.
Such delicious flavor combinations and I didn’t even remember the items were vegan until later. The Likikoi cruffin and chocolate coconut caramel kouign amann were so flaky.Friendly staff and prompt service. We loved it and ended up visiting multiple times. I look forward to visiting again next trip!(Sorry for the duplicate photos…still appearing after they’re deleted)
This is THE BEST bakery on the island! Period! Go support local and keep this shop alive! Their vegan pizza is one of the best I've ever had! Also, their sandwiches are so scrumptious and heartwarming!
My favorite bakery on the island, I drive all the way from town just to get pastries from Mothers. Their selection is so unique that you can't find it anywhere else! Every time I go, I try something new and they always provide me with new options. Nothing has ever disappointed me and I will continue to support this local business! One of my go-to items is their cruffins! They are to die for and a must-try! I also get their coffee and bread which are amazing too!
A great place for a breakfast pastry especially after watching the sunrise at Pillbox Hike which is about 10 minutes away! I got here about 8:20am on a Wednesday and was a short line in front. There were a ton of pastries, baked goodies, and sandwiches lined up behind the display window that you can choose from, but I've heard that they can sell out quickly, so just a heads up! Even though you order outside, there are signs saying that masks are still required, so don't forget your mask! I got the haupia lilikoi cruffin, which is a cross between a croissant and a muffin; basically croissant dough baked in a muffin tin. The cruffin had so many layers and was topped with colorful sprinkles that sweetened the pastry and served more of an aesthetic purpose (but that's what sprinkles do lol). The cruffin was filled with lilikoi (passionfruit) curd that was tart and slightly sweet. The haupia flavor didn't really come through though, but the lilikoi was still tasty. There was so much curd that I was trying so hard to not let it spill. The cruffin was about $6 which I thought was a reasonable price for a pastry. Would recommend this small local business if you're close by!
