Bidra med feedbackI have always loved this place! Unfortunately, my opinion has changed since last night We ordered the sausage and pepper pie. And it was hard, the sausage was very slim. There was barely no sausage on it. Like in the past, it was juicy and big chunks of sausage. Our friends ordered the sausage Sandwich and shared it. There was one piece of split sausage on the 1/2 of the Sandwich and the other half had 2 pieces of split sausage, and it was loaded with peppers and not enough sausage for the price we paid. In the past the sandwich was always filled and could hardly get our mouths around it. The cheese antipast board had very hard chunks of cheese. Could barely bite into it. Still had the outer coating on several pieces. Big turn off. The antipast board should have come out first. We sat there for 20 minutes then asked the waitress where our board was and she said, i thought you wanted it all together. By the time we ate the pizza it was not hot and super crispy. The waitress should have asked us if we wanted the antipast board as an appetizer. Very disappointed in the whole experience. Not sure if its the same chef but we 've been there alot. Also when eating outside there is a very strong cat pee smell. They feed the cats. Between the 4 of us we spent over 100$. Not worth it
The pizza here is always amazing and the service fantastic!! One of our favorite goto places.
Awesome pizza great place near the R/C flying field next to the Delray regional
Five of us shared two salads and two large pizzas. We started with the Caesar salad, which was not great. The dressing was vinegary, which always surprises me as there is shouldn't be any vinegar in a Caesar. The croutons were hard and it appears that both the dressing and the croutons were purchased, not made. We also had the Sophia salad, which was much better. Again, the dressing tasted like creamy Italian right out of the bottle, but there was a nice mix of lettuce, tomato, chick peas, red pepper, and more. We had the Sophia pizza, their version of the Margherita, and it was excellent! Perfectly cooked, crispy with light browning on the bottom, chunky tomato sauce that was simple and delicious, and fresh mozzarella. We also had the Capo, another perfectly cooked pizza topped with pepperoni, sausage, meatball, barely cooked red onions, mushrooms, olives, red pepper, and fresh basil. I don't think either pizza had fresh basil, but maybe it was added before baking? Service was pretty good, very nice server but a little scattered. Never got one of the drinks we ordered. We also had an espresso, which was fair, and tiramisu, which I didn't try but was told was pretty good. Would we go back? Definitely! Pizza is the big draw here and they know what they are doing. A bit pricier than a lot, but worth it. Give it a try! And they take reservations, which is a big deal, especially in season.
