Squires Rest - Juneau

I don't spend very often five stars, and that was the third best of 19 on the trip, so this is a very solid four-star rating. This is especially for the food we had here, although the woman at the bar that served our soft drinks was very friendly. I'm not sure if I would call this a diver or not, but I love the atmosphere here. It was relocated and welcoming to not always reach a place like this. The food was the star, and there was a lot of it. I'm very picky about fish chips, but I'd do that at any time. I would definitely say that this place is worth the ride from Juneau.

Love it here ! Loved our waitress she was nice and good at her job . They got games and let you sign dolars to post on the wall w your signature...cool right?! Yep i had my fun....believe me

Definitely a happening spot. The food is really good, the selection of alcohol is very good. The view of the harbor is one of the highlights. It's a great place in Juneau to dine out. I am rather surprised, that The Hot Bite is still in business with Squires rest around the corner. Good food, good alcohol, and friendly service. Very satisfied.

The on-site restaurant, The Devils Hideaway, serves up solid burgers, making it a fantastic place to grab a bite and enjoy a beer with a lovely view of Auke Bay. Though we live in Douglas and don’t visit often, I was pleasantly surprised a few weeks ago when I walked in and the bartender exclaimed, "Oh my god, you left your scarf here last time! Let me get that for you!" I had no idea I’d forgotten it, but it turned out she remembered me and had kept the scarf for nearly a month, returning it as soon as I walked in. That’s the kind of establishment Squirez Rest is, and their staff is truly exceptional. A+.

What a fantastic spot to connect with the locals and fishermen of Juniau! I had a layover from 9 PM to 1 AM and took a cab to get there. From the moment I arrived, I was engaged in conversation with the friendly patrons. Even with the subpar taxi and rideshare services, I managed to find a ride back to the airport thanks to a bartender's friend. Plus, the prices were incredibly affordable! I highly recommend this place.
