Ze hadden een aparte glutenvrije menukaart met veel keuzemogelijkheden. Ik heb gekozen voor een geitenkaassalade met een glutenvrij broodje erbij. Het was erg lekker!

Very thorough (separate) allergen menu gluten free, lactose free, then 7 pages of all allergens for the entire menu. Unfortunately though, they have a tiny kitchen and were very concerned about CC. The gf sandwich I was going to order was stemmed possibly not safe because of the shared oven for heating bread, so I ordered soup which was absolutely delicious. It came with warm gf bread though, so I think it was a case of them being overly cautious. The gf roll was so tasty I checked with staff twice that it was actually gf. Every time I ordered something, or had something brought to my table it was a different waitress which means having to ask/check each time that it’s gf. I prefer one person who knows/remembers throughout the meal.

Yes, this place is definitely expensive but you're paying for the view. It's probably the nicest beach restaurant around this area, and I biked to many of them! The service is pretty slow but they are happy to let you sit as long as you like. I especially appreciated that when I told them about my dietary restrictions, they offered me a menu listing ALL allergens in the dishes! This was super helpful, and I felt that they were happy to accommodate. The chips/fries came with a whole tube of local Dutch mayonnaise. Also, when I asked for ketchup for my chips/fries, it was the first time in the Netherlands that I got more ketchup than I needed and this made me really happy. The fresh mint tea was nice, and came with the requisite speculoos biscuit cookie. I'd say come by for a nice atmosphere and the ocean facing view, but it's probably a one time thing for visiting if you're in the area with friends. Nice for drinks and hanging out in the sun (if you're lucky enough to have sun in the Netherlands).
