On our IJsselmeer bike tour we also had an overnight stay at the Yotel in the north of Amsterdam. We actually wanted to go to the Mexican restaurant across the street for dinner, but there was a closed party there, but we lingered outside the location for a while because there was a three-piece rock band there for the company that was using an old American road cruiser as a stage, loud and played brilliantly. We took plan B and went to Bar Boeket and were not disappointed. Unfortunately it was very cool that evening, so we couldn't spend time in the beautiful outdoor area. There was chilling music playing in the bar itself and we chose a nice spot. First of all, there was a large bottle of still water on the house – a very nice service! Then we ordered the unusual Estaminet Pils from Belgium, something different from the ubiquitous Heineken. We ordered food from the daily menu, namely white fish for my companion and Limburger Zuurvlees with fries for me, it all tasted very good. Conclusion: We really liked Bar Boeket; when the weather is good you can also sit outside.
