Chili's Grill - Joplin

Not what it used to be, Chili's has really gone downhill over the years and the quality is just not there anymore. Standards like ribs, burgers, and chili are underwhelming, dry, overcooked, and get smaller every time we go in. I used to love their fries which are nothing special anymore, and frankly a disappointment. We seem to find our way to Chili's 1 or 2 times a year when we forget how it's changed and think we are going to get the quality from the past. They never fail to underwhelm. I'm a big fan of fajitas and Chilis used to be the best, even compared to authentic Mexican restaurants. Today, I'd say it's near the bottom in taste and quality and even the Americanized chain Mexican restaurants around us all have better fajitas at a lower cost. It's not hat anything is bad, its just not great and nothing to be proud of.

Every time I've been to this Chili's the service has been great and the food was quick to arrive ??

This Chili 's used to be my favorite restaurant in Joplin, but I 've watched their attention to detail and quality of food drop steadily over the years. It 's really gone downhill. The best burger in town is no better than Five-guys (one of my least favorite burgers I 've ever had). I 've now had several awful experiences that escalated to every item on a plate, the main course and three sides, being COMPLETELY uncooked. One of those items was the steamed broccoli 100% raw. It was awful and we should have sent the whole plate back to be redone from scratch. So, that 's the current state of Joplin 's Chilli 's.

Very good food and good quality and amount of food to get your money worth with reasonable price. Loved the appetizers. Happy smiley waiters. Awesome place!
