De La Seugne - Jonzac

Lovely people and great food in a very smart restaurant. Lovely surprise. We will be going back very soon I hope.

We were in Jonzac to eat with family but this restaurant was the only one open on Monday (it's open The menu was varied and excellent and the food was very good and well presented. A tastefully decorated establishment with a large, terrace for...the right weather. The staff are efficient, courteous and well presented. We had a two year old in the party and she was looked after very well. I use it often now.

The restaurant de la seugne is hidden behind the rather unimaginable facade of a hotel, but behind and you will find a pleasant restaurant with a beautiful partly covered terrace for the better weather. we went to midday when there was both a...la-carte and a three-course formalule. there was no great choice expected on the formal, but that was sufficient, and eating immediately arrived, was well cooked and tasted very good. good value and service for the price. we went on a Friday, and the place was hopefully a note on a good restaurant, so the booking might be advisable. also remarkable was the efficient and friendly service despite paying. In summary, an excellent food around eating, service, worth for money. definitely recommended, and we want to back to try the dinner menu.

Beautiful diner in jonzac. home made fish soup and the tournedos rossini were perfect together with a château margaux. chocolate cake pushed by a xo cognac, here it goes! perfect service, pleasant moment.

After ordering from the menu came my food and was spilled the back, ok, accidents happen. the problem of my opinion after nobody was asked how I was. an apology came about five minutes later. ruined new up as the traces of fat would not get out. no reduction of our bill. a likör was brought out after we were done for free, where we wanted it or not!
