Rotisserie St-Hubert - Jonquière

On Saturday, three of us dined at the restaurant. The ambiance was peaceful and the music was at a pleasant volume. The waitress provided excellent recommendations and served our table with professionalism and a smile.

This restaurant was recommended by someone on the train. My memory of St. Hubert was that it was a fast food chicken place. Although there is a take-out counter with its own entrance on the other side of the building, this was a... full service restaurant and bar. 100 miles north of Quebec City, it is helpful to say at least a few words in French. This restaurant has English menus and makes things easier. Although the English of the waitress was as good as my French, we went through okay. I had the grilled chicken breast with rice and a garden salad and sugar cake to dessert. If you have never had sugar cake, try to have it while in this region similar to pecan pie, but with a maple sugar taste. The whole meal was great. My travel companion had the chicken pancake and enjoyed it. When he ordered, we were told that it would take about 20 minutes to cook, we said no problem, but were glad that they made us aware. Delicious food at reasonable prices with good service hard to beat this!

I enjoy the table d'hôte and usually order the chicken strips. It's the best value for my money. I always go with a full stomach:

After a good motorcycle ride, there's nothing better than a pit stop at the St-Hub in Chicoutimi. Good service, even on the terrace.

Every time we order from there, it tastes like ****. If you can't cook, close your crappy restaurant!
