Long John Silver's - Joliet

This restaurant always has a great meal promotion going on. I have never been disappointed with their food. The staff always appear happy to be working here and they deliver orders right to the table. If the fish isn't freshly caught on location, it is still a great option.

The service was a bit slow, perhaps it would have been better if they had focused more on cooking and less on talking. We ordered one fish but received two.

The restaurant could use some updates. I have been coming here for many years, and it feels a little outdated. However, I have never had any issues with the service, aside from the occasional mistake in my order. The food tastes great every time. I typically don't enjoy fast food restaurants, but I really enjoy the menu at this place. I wish there were more restaurants like this one.

The garnels were good, but the fish tasted as if he had been overcooked in old oil bitter and unpleasant. the soße was also bitter and not tender.

This would be great if the batter didn't hold so much oil. I don't come here very often for this reason, but the fish, chicken, and hushpuppy are really good. Crab cakes were pretty good. I came on a Friday during lent so it was pretty busy.
