Gerbs Allergy Friendly Foods - Johnston

With several food allergies I was excited when I found my bruises. I enjoyed the granola every day for breakfast and snacks. a few months ago I received my order and found the product to burn and unusable. I suspected it was like a fuke and immediately bought a new bag just to find the same acrid smell and clearly darker color on the product. When I gave feedback, I was told that they were aware that there was a “over roasted” approach. when they were aware, there was a quality problem, why did they continue to drive to customers? I have now waited several months to place another order, hoping that they were all distributed over roasted batch. unfortunately I was disappointed again and the product smells, looks and tastes burned. I hope they will address this problem.

Ordered their dried fruit on line and am satisfied with the product. Great concept, Allergy Friendly as many people have plenty of specific food intolerance, like towards some fruits, nuts or other organic stuff and certain preservatives. Mango is diced and ready for use in hot cereal or home baking or anything recipe wise. Too bad a good portion of it is not very pronounced in flavour, just tasting more of sugar than fruit. Perhaps the mango was too green when picked for processing. Strawberries are dried whole, and I find them quite satisfying and tasty. However, both products should ditch most of the added sugar, for my palate anyway. Gerbs ' prices for some stuff seem steep. Still, considering the drying and care and time that has to be put in to make these items, I don 't think what they charge is entirely unreasonable. Definitely enjoying the strawberries, in cereal or just by themselves. I 'll likely order them again.

I purchased their jumbo sunflower seeds from amazon. The seeds were stale and had a burnt taste to them. I reached out to the company about a refund or replacement and never heard back.They said I got a refund but I never did.

I ordered a 6 pack of lightly toasted pumpkin seed butter. It tastes so burnt and salty I can't eat it. You can't tell if it's pumpkin seeds or not. I emailed the company and got no response. I accidentally hit the 2 stars or I would of given it 1 star. So so disappointed.

Wonderful products! My 5 year old loves fruit and my 3 year old hates fruit. Getting her to eat fruit is impossible. We love the fact that this company is allergy friendly and genuinely cares about what is in there products. My husband and I figured we would try to order something she might like. She loved the cubed cinnamon apples and the dried mango. Thank you. We are excited to try more of your friendly foods!!!
