Moe's Original Bbq Johnson City

I have to say, I was impressed with this place. I have to eat gluten free and their menu is full of options. All their meats, sauce, and quite a few sides are all gluten free. I got the smoked wings and they are some of the best I have ever had. My meal came with two sides and was allowed a third since I couldn't have the corn bread. Let me say, no one let's you substitute like that. Thank you and my family will be back!!!

The food and the service here are top notch. Highly recommend the Alabama white wings. They were also very knowledgeable about allergens and helped me pick a meal I could eat. The server brought it out and said he personally made sure it was safe. Love this place!

I love this place. I just recently discovered that it’s in Johnson City, which is a big plus because I would always stop by the Asheville location. I love the vibe it he place and all the options. I always get the pork sandwich meal (pork and bbq sauce are both scrumptious to me). I love the banana pudding (perfectly balanced with not too much sweet).

I've lived in Johnson city for 19 years, and I've eaten at almost every restaurant in the area. And i have never felt the need to write a review for any of them. But last night I went to Moe's and it literally changed my view and standard of what good food for a great price means. Go to Moe's!!! Get the pork sandwich, do yourself a favor and get it Bama style. I don't know what all else is even there, I tried some wings too. Don't get me started on the wings. Okay you've got me started on the wings. They were incredible!! Anyways I loved my time there. From the atmosphere, to the service, to the food, this place is incredible. Honestly unmatched in our area.

When a need for BBQ comes on i will go to Moe's every time, brisket is on point, smoked meatloaf is amazing, mahi mahi is awesome also even being a BBQ restaurant, and the employees and owners are all very hospitable and make it an amazing experience every time you go. O and I can't forget the cornbread, WOW, with just a little bit of the original sauce and it's out of this word. Everything there is different than what is available elsewhere in the area and different is better in my opinion when choosing BBQ in the Tri Cities.
