Gilligan's Steamer Raw - Johns Island

I have been dining at this restaurant for many years and recently encountered an issue, which was promptly and satisfactorily resolved by the management. The restaurant offers tasty dishes at affordable prices. We tried the honey salmon with fries and the Flounder sandwich with fries and Mexican street corn. Both the salmon and flounder sandwiches were delicious, the fries were crispy, but the Mexican street corn could have been improved with a more grilled flavor. Despite this, it was still enjoyable and even better when we reheated it the next day. The complimentary Hush puppies were excellent. The restaurant has a lovely decor, spacious seating, and a very friendly staff.

What a fantastic place for a meal. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. There was no food. The lush puppies were moist and tasty. I had the gumbo and it was excellent (it could have been spicier) and everyone else in my party loved their meal. The fish and chips, chicken pliers, grilled shrimps and the Flounder sandwich were great. You will not be disappointed with your meal

For the first time in Gilligan for lunch. They had the best Hush puppies ever... light, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. We were also super satisfied with our food as it was well prepared and seasoned... it was not disappointed. Our waiter was personal and the food was inexpensive. We sat on her deck. Hope we're back!
