The Grillhouse Rosebank - Johannesburg

Really great restaurant. Their steak is some of the best I've tasted in my life. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth it.

DELICIOUS!! A exquisite experience! As a local reviewer I look for something special something different with amazing food. This was a great experience! Food : We had delicious bread made by the grill house as a light snack. Main meal, I decided to go with a chicken schnitzel which was really nice ! I found the flavour rich however it just didn’t feel big enough. Potato wedges were great ! Dessert was a chocolate brownie which was truly DELICIOUS! It felt so smooth and was sweet but also dark chocolate, a large compliment of flavours within the dish. Atmosphere : Relaxing. Classy and special. Feels more formal. Management : (Manager on site) Absolutely superb service from the waiter (Ben) Manager on duty making sure everything is done correctly. Overall it was a great experience! I have not had any dissatisfaction from this restaurant.

Had a nice two course meal here. Suggest trying the bone marrow and Halloumi for appetizer. Nice fresh bread provided when you sit. Had the fillet on bone and a striploin for mains with four sides, good value and good sized portions, felt it was all a bit bland. Service was excellent. Don't think its a 4.6 rating, more like a 4.

Absolutely superb service! We went there twice and a week apart. The service was amazing. We were blessed with the same waiter who was extremely friendly and professional. Our entire dining experience was lovely. This is proper fine dining.

A truly exceptional restaurant. Excellent food, both classical and more contemporary dishes executed with precision. The atmosphere is great, the service professional and the kitchen is fast. Quite easily the best steakhouse in South Africa.
