Ristretto Morningside - Johannesburg

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and were pleasantly surprised. We were seated outdoors under the trees with bird songs and a view of the children's play area, allowing parents to keep an eye on the little ones. It was much better than other restaurants where you can't see your children. I ordered the trinchada (I think that's what it was called) steak discs in a delicious sauce. I usually can never have enough sauce or gravy, but for once I was satisfied. Everything was delicious, including the wonderful cheesecake. Even the small complimentary shortcake cookie that came with the cappuccino was delicious and tasted homemade, with a real buttery flavor.

I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant last night. The steaks were incredible and there was a great variety of side dishes to choose from. The playground was a nice touch to keep the kids entertained. The service was quick and our waiter was very attentive. Overall, it was a fantastic evening!
