The beautiful location along is worth the trip, being right on the water with beautiful views everywhere. The margaritas are also often on special and they're quite delicious as is the food. The atmosphere can hardly be beat in the service is quite excellent...

Excellent food, excellent service. Been there twice. Aldo is an excellent waiter who is fluent in English and probably other languages too. If they have the chicken souvlaki special, get it. Comes with coffee or tea, a seriously good Greek salad, entree, and dessert. For MXN $130.

We have had a great lunch at Maria Isabel in Ajijic. The staff was very friendly and even made me a dish that wasn't on the menu as such. All in all a great place with an amazing view over the lake.

The first time it was good but this second time the food was very bad and the personnel did nothing about it. They were told about it and they did nothing but to charge for the bad experience. It's a shame that they loose business for not wanting to change a dish that will cost them $20 pesos for gaining $380 and loosing a client.
