Hacienda Del Lago Boutique - Jocotepec

I seldom write reviews but i believe this hotel deserves another good review. The hotel rounds are beautiful, the rooms are super clean and comfortable. My wife and I stayed 6 nights, and on our third night we were upgraded to a nicer room with a jet tub without us even asking! It is a three-minute walk from the lake and a eight-minute walk from the plaza at the center of the town. The staff are all super friendly and helpful (Hi Joanna! Hi Andres! Hi Everyone! Hope the huge avocado is ripe to eat by now. Ajijic is a very pretty and quaint little lake side town. It is not a party town, but there are no shortage of expats who have elected to call it home. If we revisit, we will definitely stay at Hacienda Del Lago Hotel again.

A delightful full service boutique hotel close to the lake and the town center. Adults only. Excellent food, spa services available, and a staff that aims to please.

While we have not stayed here, (we were staying just around the corner) Lunch was always wonderful here when we walked buy. the food was great, on budget. (the cheaper side) and the staff were wonderful as well. If we had known about this place, we would have booked our 2 week stay here. Love the vibe.
