Hummus Abu Shukri - Jerusalem

Slow service, very cheap dishes (eggplant in tahini with no bread or even a spoon? Really? . Arais was bland, eggplantes were old and sour. It came with a SPOILED veggie salad. Nice seating area, very nice area

The waitress didn’t spoke English and brought a different plate to the one we wanted. Food was uneventful and expensive. Not worth going for a tourist. Not a positive experience.

Pitta shawar takes 15 mins to be prepared. The worst shawsrma I had in Jerusalem. Both veal and chicken are nasty. Please avoid this place!

This is a classic tourist trap. On the outside: a fancy name and menu in a prime location. In real life it's just bad food served on an overpriced plate.

The place looks nice from the outside. We ordered: Home Salad (which is apparently only tomatoes cucumbers topped with not very tasty labneh based sauce and wierd very meat which is NOT chicken, probably rat, pigeon or cat). The taste is horrible. a pitcher of lemonade, which was good size, but full of sugar and chemical lemon flavor! the beer Shapira was okay, big glass. chicken skewers were okay, but tiny, the sauce is inedible, too. The staff speaks extremely poor English and doesn't even know their own menu. One dish was NEVER broghut but they added in into the check. Would not come again, very poor experience, and not a cheap one! Do NOT recommend.
