Surf City - Jersey City

Excellent seafood and service! Lobster rolls were amazing.

It was a good experience. I was just surprised that we had to check our IDs at the door but I guess having strict security deters people from acting up.

Our table was ready right away and the friendly server came over to greet us. I ordered the calamari but it was rubbery. The shrimp boil was extremely salty but the portion size was good. The crab fries were tasty along with the fungi pizza. Their twin lobster rolls are always a hit and that’s my favorite on the menu.The place is extremely nice with gorgeous views but they have to do better to make the food more tasty. The drinks are not that strong and could be a little less icy. I would go there again because of the views. I highly recommend making a reservation before you go.

We went on the early side, around 12:30 and it was pretty empty. By the time we left a couple of hours later, the place really filled up and was becoming quite a fun vibe! I got the double lobster rolls which were quite filling and very good!

Amazing, breathtaking, will definitely be returning.
