Bidra med feedbackFirst I read the lowest rating reviews than the newest one before we decided to go eat there with my family. Personally for me I have one advice for people thinking on going there to eat, don’t think twice the food is heavenly delicious. I promise you all that this place deserve more than 5 stars. At first sight when you get to the place you really wonder what mystery place is it ? And once you walk in it feels like you are in a small fishing town oldest restaurant with a mysterious vibe. The staff is super nice and so helpful. The menu is very simple and easy to order from, the portion sizes are big so you will fill up with just an entree. Do go and check it out it’s definitely worth it and I definitely recommend it.
The food and service were great but at these prices I'm definitely not hooked. I will definitely return, but it will be a rare occasion not something I do often. $35 out the door for a fish platter and a canned soda is not reasonable for this level of dining experience.
Love love loved it!!! Ordered through doordash since we couldn't go out tonight. The food was all out or this world. The flavors, the aroma, the portions, the presentation all of it was on point. I ordered the jalapeno hush puppies with the freshly made honey butter, damn delicious the outside was perfectly crispy and the inside was perfectly tender and tasty the honey butter was at a perfect ratio. The seafood gumbo was great mine had lots of okra which i love and fish. Also ordered baked Mac and cheese and it was aldente and cheesy not overly salty like i make mine and truly home made no fakeness. Fried pickles were also great. And for my main course i had the Connecticut style lobster roll which was also perfect TONS of fresh lobster and just the right amount of sweetness to the bread. Overall perfect 10 for my first meal here. Wife ordered the blackened fish over house salad which she devoured. We love experiencing fantastic places like this. This place is a small establishment with a lot to experience. Definitely will go in next time to get everything right out if the kitchen. But perfect with everything. Must try.
Okay, I know this might upset some people… but I can definitely make the case that this is the best sea food in the JC/Hoboken area. You’ll get so much food for such a fair price. Weirdly enough, the Kale Caesar salad is a game changer with the shrimp. Something about that sauce is mildly addicting. Pro tip: don’t forget it’s BYOB! Bring some drinks and enjoy!
Low key, friendly vibe and excellent food. I've always ordered catch of the day, grilled, and have never been disappointed. Generous portions, nicely prepared and tasty. It's a seafood joint, but do not miss their fries--they are perfect! Its not my neighborhood, but I go out of my way to eat here. Highly recommended.
