Mike's Seafood Steakhouse - Jennings

A great way to pack our NOLA vacuum. We were thrilled to find this jewel on the way back from NOLA. We had the dinner buffet, which over the same prices as the best seafood buffets. The shrimp/fish were not cooked over what is important. The gumbo was slightly sharp, which was great. The restaurant was clean with friendly and attentive waiter. We even met the owner who was very nice. The bathrooms were clean and have a baby changing station. You're not sorry to eat here.

I can see why this is so low. They were originally in another place and service was usually terrible. Food is great if you could get space, drinks and order. The new place is much bigger, more beautiful, cleaner and food is still great. I haven't had a bad service in the last 2-3 years. Prob eat there once a month.

We ate Mike's dinner tonight. Very good food....senior grilled Wels dinner for me (delicious and generous portion), Hamburger Steak dinner for Nabeby, that was a HUGE portion and was also very delicious plus a common appetizer of alligator bites. The Allugator was wonderful, tender and not a little greasy. Homemade dinner rolls were very good and hubby enjoyed the salad bar as 1 of 2 pages that came with dinner. We had both chosen a choice of 2 pages from a long list of pages. A beautiful list of so many decisions. Holly was our very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient server. Everyone who worked there spoke to us and was also very friendly. The place is comfortable large, very clean and had a great decor. Don't miss getting a photo of 10ft. Alligator skin mounted on the wall. Our server said noon, they serve a buffet and weekends have live music. Many parking spaces in the parking lot also. Worth a visit!

Not sure the address listed here is correct, but the phone number is good, they give the right instructions. Food was great! 12oz Ribeye was perfectly cooked! Fried Shrimp was also great. Atmosphere and service were excellent! I would recommend this place to everyone!

Disappointed. I ordered the crawfish Lafitte I haven't ordered it in a while and in the past it was so good. I ordered it tonight and it was a completely different recipe, still crawfish pasta but completely different and not good at all.
