Mudd Works Roastery - Jennings Lodge

Was here in Portland for the weekend and stopped by for breakfast! The pop tart was one of the best pastries I've had in a long time! Coffee was great too

I've been a fan of Marco and his coffee adventures for about 15 years. I used to go by Half-Pint all the time and even though I have to drive all the way across town to make it to the current location of Mudd Works, it is well worth the time. I've long been a Chili Mex fan and undoubtedly I wind up getting a pastry too, because those are always just as great as the coffee. The only thing that could make it any better was if Marco was in my neighborhood.

My boyfriend and I went in for a couple double shots of espresso, they were served in cute little tea cups with a dark chocolate square. the owner was super nice and gave us cuties on the way out. love it here!

What a delightful little spot! A cozy, welcoming, and instantly comfortable space paired with super friendly staff made it a great visit. And the Ethiopian Guji Adola is *amazing* plus you can chill next to the roaster where it all happened. Absolutely need more marionberry pop tarts in my life.
