Really good food! the food came out really fast and the employees were really nice, love the atmosphere of the restaurant the ambiance!Vegetarian options: *pescatarian options (pasta with seafood, wild mushroom ragu has pork but you could probably ask to remove)

I don 't normally write reviews but felt compelled to after our experience last night.First off the good stuff. The staff was very helpful and I could tell they were working hard. Decor is cozy and the neighborhood is really charming. Plenty of bike parking nearby and easily accessible via transit.We showed up with a party of 4 at 6PM on a Sunday and were told a 20 30 minute wait. No biggie, we went for a walk. Hadn 't gotten a text after about 25 minutes so we went in to check. The host told us just a few more minutes . Ended up waiting about 45 minutes total. Again, totally understand, it was relatively busy.Once we were seated, it took about 15 minutes for our server to come round and take our order. Well, our drink order. We apparently weren 't allowed to order food at the same time as drinks? Another 15 minutes and we get our drinks, order our starters and mains.We waited about another hour for our food to come out, and apparently one of our mains got lost, so we got to wait an additional 15 minutes for that. One thing that rubbed us the wrong way was our server trying to upsell us on more drinks and starters when we hadn 't gotten any food at all.On the topic of the food it was alright. I can 't speak for the others in my party, but I had the mushroom ragu. It was kind of bland and under seasoned, but the pasta was good. It came out lukewarm.They tell you the portions are meant to share but that 's not really true. I left feeling pretty hungry after eating a main and munching on a couple starters.I don 't really think the prices are fair for what you get to begin with, but the mandatory 20% surcharge is really corny. Just raise your prices. You don 't need to perform that you pay your staff a living wage, just do it and product will speak for itself.Overall, I left feeling really disappointed. The sheer amount of waiting really irked me from showing up to getting food was almost 2 1/2 hours. I had heard good things and was patient, but the whole experience was aggressively mediocre from top to bottom. We ended up missing half of a show we went to afterward not entirely on the restaurant, but we figured budgeting 2 hours for dinner was reasonable.I probably won 't go back any time soon, but would be willing to give it another shot in the future if they at least start doing reservations so the timing is more predictable.

My friend and I got lucky and only waited 10 minutes to be seated at our table. The server was awesome and always made sure everything was okay. I also appreciated their suggestions since it was our first time coming to this restaurant. The food came out in a timely manner and was delicious! We got their Dungeness Crab alla Vodka, caesar salad, and fried mozzarella.

What a horrible horrible evening interacting with the most horrible service we’ve experienced in years. My family planned to have a birthday here this evening. We called a few days prior because there is conflicting information on their website about parties larger than 8. The person I spoke with on Wednesday evening said it totally fine to come with larger parties, that the patio was a great space for larger parties, and that coming early at the time they open would be our best bet. So we showed up and did all those things happy to be outside, arrived first in line and were told by the owner and the chef we had to leave. We even offered to split our party and sit at different areas of the restaurant to which they refused. At this point there is a line behind us but because we were first the restaurant is completely empty and they won’t even seat us as multiple smaller parties. We had 13 in our group and were happy to be a party of 8 and 5 but they made us leave. Even though a staff member had assured me days before that it was fine and not to worry about being turned away. At the very least they should have honored what I was told. They were really awful, mean, and dismissive. We enjoyed the food in the past but we are never going back along with all our friends who we told would love the food. I’ll be reporting them to the better business bureau and sharing this review as many places as I can. Can’t believe a neighborhood joint would treat people so horribly.
