Bitter Rose Coffee - Jennings Lodge

I want crazy about the coffee I found it bitter, however I did enjoy their hot cocoa.

Their coffee is very good and the staff seemed knowledgeable and helpful.

The drinks and snacks are tasty and competative to Starbucks prices. Employees were friendly. The atmosphere is stiff and sterile however, which isn't really what I personally like in an independent coffee shop.

I got a latte here based on the positive reviews and the coffee was exactly what was in the name: bitter and with rose petals (second was optional). In the best way possible. I also had extra shots so that's why it was so tasty. I'll definitely be returning here in the future.

This place is one of our favorite coffee shops in Portland! We visited from Austin and were looking to a place to hang out for a little bit while responding to work emails and the two ladies running the counter were so friendly and made fantastic drinks! Not only were they nice to us but in the hour or so we were there, we watched them greet most of their customers by name as they walked in the door and even started making drinks before they were asked.
