1852 On Austin - Jefferson

We were in town for three nights and ate here each night. The food and service were consistently good all three evenings. We were pleasantly surprised to find such a high quality restaurant during our stay. If we are back in the area, we will definitely be back.

I tried the pork chop with a wedge salad. It was top shelf. Quality, service, atmosphere is the best. The manager is super friendly and nice. Great place if you are in Jefferson.

This was our first time in Jefferson. We decided to visit for our 29th Anniversary. We had the fried green tomatoes and firecracker shrimp for appetizers and they were amazing. I wasn’t sure about the cheese with the tomatoes but it was excellent. I had the ribeye cook perfectly for me. Slightly under medium and it was juicy and flavorful. My bride had the lobster ravioli and it was wonderful. The staff were great and our server, Trina was so nice and took such great care of us. We will be making more getaway weekends to Jefferson and enjoy a more great meals at 1852 on Austin.

The house band, The Sultans, perform a great classic rock comcert and 1852's food is some of the best in east Texas!
