Garfield's Pub - Jasper

I went on a Wednesday at 1 pm. Not very busy in there at all . The service was very slow after I got a Seat. It was 20.55 for just me. Which I think is high for one person. I’d give no stars for service if I could.

Awesome place to visit with a group of friends for a light-hearted, genuine good time around food and drinks. Decor is captivating, and the waitresses are on their 'A ' game! Drinks are tailored to my liking with no fuss, and the spicy margaritas (specifically made for me) are top-notch!! Prices are not bad, and the food is worth bragging about! The southwest egg rolls are the best on earth!! Visit, you will not regret it!

This was our first visit to Garfield's but after seeing how crowded it is on Sundays, we felt like we should give it a try. We went on a Saturday rather than Sunday to avoid the crowd and I'm glad we did because while the service was excellent, the kitchen is a little slow and I can see it getting backed up when they are busy. My wife and I both had different pasta dishes. She tried the macaroni and cheese with grilled chicken which actually turned out to be penne instead of ,macaroni but was delicious. I had the pasta Alfredo with grilled shrimp which was also penne past and was very good but had a bit more garlic in the Alfredo than I usually like. All in all, everything was very good and we will definitely be back soon. If I had a complaint, it would be that the menu is sort of everywhere and it makes it hard to decide what you want to eat. They have everything from bbq ribs and seafood, to steaks, burgers and pasta. I'm not really sure what kind of restaurant it is even after eating there.One thing that is VERY surprising with today's prices is that we spent the same thing for two entrees and drinks as we did for two fast food meals at Milo's a week ago. The only difference was the tip. The prices are extremely reasonable and for the money, the food is far better than what you would get at a fast food joint.

Great food. Slow service. Beautiful atmosphere. Would go again!
