Patil Khanaval - Janjira

The fish (Kingfish and Pomfret) and Prawns plates, prawns fry and fish fry are delicious. The service is quick and the waitstaff are friendly. They even provided tea upon request, although it's not listed on the menu. The outdoor seating area is nice, but the interior of the restaurant is nothing special. The restrooms are not great, but they do the job. The access road is narrow. Overall, this place is worth a visit for tasty food and efficient service, but don't expect anything fancy.

Patil khanaval is best hotel in Murud, exactly opposite to Murud beach. They are searving best food...mainly thali 1. Motton thali 2. Veg thali 3. Fish thali (pomfret, prowns, surmai) They do have wide options in breakfast too. ambiance is too good and giving good and fresh feel very close t beach...wooden table and coconut trees are enhancing experince. Solkadi here is awesome, must try.

Good quality food, value for money, service is a bit late as it's always crowded and you have to hunt for the waiters. Try to reach early if you wish to experience all the dishes, if you reach after 8.30 pm chances are you may not get desired dish and end up eating something else.

If you are at Murud, and looking for a cost effective yet delicious meal- Patil khanaval is that place. Amazing natural ambience with coconut and betlewnut trees. Staffs are not very trendy as you find in high end restaurants, but they are surprisingly efficient and know curtesy very well. Fish dishes were very delicious. The place has a fine touch of village life which is the most attractive USP of this hotel.

A great lunch option in Murud with both indoor and outdoor seating available. We ordered the pomfret crab thali and the surmai prawns fried. The fried dishes were fantastic, but the curry options were not as expected. The prawn fry, however, was delicious. I recommend trying the fried or dry sukka options and arriving early as dishes may run out quickly on weekends due to the crowded hotels.
