This place has gone downhill. The bar restaurant is small, so it would be crowded if the place were busy. There is a very limited menu for food and for beer. There are some middle of the road priced options, but the steak and seafood that I used to come here for years ago) is too pricey in my opinion. I tried the perch fish fry, and it was OK. My wife had the baked cod, and it was pretty good. the service was OK. Overall, it was OK
We had a Rotary group dinner there. The seafood was mouth watering. The steaks were tender.

You know I was really dissapointed. This was a place we want to every week when I lived in Janesville. The steak was subpar (I got the featured entre which was a brown sugar steak). The quality of the beef was off and add to that a less than spectacular seasoning... It sounded so good but fell flat. We are moving back to Janesville and I hope they get a better quality of beef before we return. In fact we would consider buyingbto turn this landmark around!
