La Vestida - Jaén

We came to this attractive modern restaurant set in the middle of olive groves for a surprise birthday lunch with friends from Jaén. The food was excellent. We shared a wide range of starters: ensaladilla, partridge paté, lomo de orza (marinated loin of pork), cold salmorejo soup, tuna tataki and croquetas.... The main course was a choice of baked cod with a mayonnaise topping or 'pluma ibérica ' (grilled loin of pork). The dessert was to die for. I have no idea what it was: a sort of light 'natillas´ custard with a ball of something very deliciously creamy at the bottom! Not a brilliant description…. In short, it was a great meal and the birthday lady really enjoyed herself !!

Excellent place to have Spanish food with a modern twist. Service is nice and very professional. We recommend to try the steak tartar and the turrón de foie.

Excellent restaurant in Jaén!!! We stopped for lunch on our way to Madrid. Incredible food, even best service from Javier and Manolo We will come back !!!!! Thank you La Vestida!!! On your way to the Michelin Star !!!
