Restaurant Lactobac is located at the Plaza de Armas of busy Jaen. It is a no-nonsense restaurant. While dining you can watch football on large TV screens. Service is adequate and fast. Restaurant Lactobac offers à-la-carte Peruvian and international food. We came for dinner and the place was full with locals, a good sign. Everybody was watching a football match for 2019 Copa América. We went for two different dishes and the food was surprisingly good. The next morning we went for breakfast and again it was good. We recommend Lactobac to anyone who seeks OK food in a no-nonsense restaurant.

Remodeled 2 years ago, this is a clean and comfortable restaurant right on the plaza de armas of Jaen. good selection, clean, consistent service. food is tasty is unspectacular. In a town without anything special food-wise, Lactobac stands out as the best option in the center. clean enough to take tourists to, I have done so and never a problem afterwards

Llegamos del aeropuerto a un almuerzo un poco tarde, personal muy atento explica las opciones disponibles y sugiere, atención rápida (el sitio estaba casi vacío) el ambiente es comodo y queda frente a la plaza de armas, recomendable

Comida casera, fui y pedí lo que ya tenía preparado. Como el plato del día. Tenía muy buen sabor lo que pedí. Los precios son bastante razonables y el servicio bueno.
