Bidra med feedbackI and my partner had the crispy vegi sushi the sweet teishoku and sweet donburi and it was all so delicious! service was very good! restaurant understands concept of veganism.
I had great hopes on this place, based on the other reviews here, but I was finally disappointed. The seat I chose on the window had so many ants that I didn't feel comfortable leaving my bag there. I ordered pineapple Saki that was never delivered. The menu has no vegan labels, so after a conversation with the waitress I ordered two rolls, a sharp and a crispy. They brought a simple and a crisp. The filling was exactly the same vegetables. I've never had such a seaweed salad. The waitress came by right away when I had put the last sushi bites in my mouth and cleared my plate when I was still stealing. They thought they were super busy and wanted to turn the seat around, but I was one of only three tables. Then with the receipt they brought a caramel lkau that wasn't vegan, even though I had said that. The sushi itself tasted fresh, but it was not describing. For vegan sushi in the area you are better at Ohana
We stayed here last night in Jaco. The sushi was fresh, tasty and exactly what we wanted. We tried all 3 vegan options and loved them all. The service was great, with the cook who speaks English, our order was picked up and everything was prepared. The English of the waitress was not as strong as the cook, but wait for us and to take our payment was not a problem. If we had stopped in our stay earlier, we would have returned several times. Very reasonable and worth a try.

I was looking forward to dining at this restaurant based on the positive reviews, but I ended up being disappointed. The table I chose by the window had so many ants that I didn't feel comfortable leaving my bag there. I ordered pineapple sake, which was never brought to me. The menu didn't have any vegan labels, so after speaking with the server, I ordered two rolls, a spicy roll and a crispy roll. However, they brought me a flat roll and a crispy roll with the exact same sweet filling. It was disappointing. The server cleared my plate while I was still eating, claiming they were very busy even though there were only three tables occupied. They also brought a non-vegan caramel chew even though I had specifically requested vegan options. The sushi itself tasted fresh, but it wasn't anything special. Overall, for vegan sushi, there are better options at Ohana.
