Gator's Dockside Oakleaf - Jacksonville

Service was better than my gyro, But totally worth going again. We had the best waitress her name has slipped my mind. But we were seated in big horseshoe booths by the bar area. I love that area. Service has always been better in that nook and cranny. Husband had the French dip and I had gyro. One son had hotdog and the other chicken tenders. Food came out quick and it was hot and fresh. Was all good.

Will be visited again. I would recommend it. they don't wait. the food was 51 before the drink. the service might have been better.

At dockside at 450pm I sat and got my water until 520 after I asked for the manager. whoever sat me would have notified the person who works the tables. there were three empty tables around me. the lady sat 4 ppl on a table and waited for her before I even got my water. that is, in my opinion, a bad quality of service. manager wasn't apologetic at all. she was more like passiw about all the history. there is a star today, a 1.5 got my wing on 535 the table next to me was already eating. Smh..Update. my waitress never came by to check me or my water. she looked from a far away to see if I needed water. then she appeared with a cup of water. after everything I asked about my bill and had to wait 10m. smh. that's a sad day at gator dockside. I felt invisible today. I raped my day at 625. Update...Never took the menu.Views?

So dissapointed in Gators. We moved here over a year ago and discovered this restaurant and have enjoyed the food. Not anymore. Tonight was the end. Spent over 70 on bad food. First off all the wings were burnt. The lemon pepper had 0 flavor besides a burnt taste. No lemon. The garlic parm was horrible. Covered in Buffalo sauce. If I wanted Buffalo I would have ordered that. Wanted that garlicky parmegean taste but did not happen. The egg rolls tasted greasy like they used old oil. Only decent thing was the mozzarella sticks. I was really excited to get the pretzel with beer cheese. What we got was Queso dip Queso goes with tortilla chips not pretzels. What happened to this place. Guess we will be going to Wing Stop now.

Would have given a 3.5 but they get a 4. This is definitely a sports bar scene! If you like watching sports, TVs everywhere! One side has high tables and the other side more sit down tables. Gator tail appetizer was very good. Entrees weren't as exciting. The fish tacos were skimpy not much fish, less than 1 bite worth of fish. The Alfredo pasta is on spiral macaroni vs Alfredo noodles. The wings are the big ticket here, so if you want beers and wings, this is your place.
