European Street Cafe - Jacksonville

This by far not one of my favorite places to eat. It was someone else’s turn to pick the lunch spot. The service was ok. He stayed on top of our drinks and made sure we had all the condiments we wanted. I'm just not impressed with the quality of the food they had. The lettuce on my sandwich was mostly the white core shredded. It was so hard I had to pick it all off so I could eat. I liked the honey mustard that came with the Princess Anna sandwich. I was also disappointed because they were out of Kinder chocolate that they usually have by the check out. When I asked she said they were out of stock. They usually have it in a couple of different places.

The service was pretty good. I did have to ask for a refill, as well as my co-workers whenever we needed drinks. The place wasn't that busy but we were a large party so I gave him the benefit of the doubt of not being able to see all of our glasses. The food was average and not really worth paying $8.50 for a sandwich and then extra for a croissant. I mean $13 with tip is a lot to pay for lunch. Especially when I got water. I'm not crazy about this place. I think the food and atmosphere are just over rated but a lot of people like to come here from work and for drinks afterwards.
