Applebee's - Jacksonville

Applebee's recently announced its new American-made, wood-fired grills as a centerpiece in several of their locations around the country.  I was recently invited to one of the local Applebee's to try some of the new items off of their new hand-cut, wood fired grill menu and couldn't have been more excited as these items, including Top Sirloin and Bone-In Pork Chops, highlight the new elevated quality, flavor, and freshness of their dishes.

Just found... After work...half priced appetizers and beer...karaoke Thursday..good place!!!

This Applebee's is one of the best I have ever been to. The menu has been updated to accommodate whatever I'm in the mood for. I have also noticed a huge change in the quality of the food, everything is fresh and very flavorful. I only have Tyler as my server, he is the best, he is always quick with my food and provides the best service! Everyone must try this Applebee's, just to see how great the food has become.

While I highly enjoyed my food and the atmosphere was good, it took awhile for our waiter to notice us again. But the reason I gave 5 stars instead of 4 was that he was very informative and helped out with our decision. We just wanted some appetizers and was going to do a 3 appetizer deal to share but because it was half off after 10pm he let me know it would be better to get the regular appetizers so got the same price for more food. Used the appetizers as our dinner and loved it. Under 20 bucks too : It was a win win and we will be returning if we are ever hungry past 10pm.

The waitress was wonderful. It took a little while to be helped, but that was completely fine. It's been a while since I've gone to an Applebee's, it was a really nice experience. PSA: The four-cheese Mac and cheese with honey pepper chicken was REALLY sweet. A little bit too sweet for my taste, but if you like that kind of thing, then you go on ahead and get it.
