Fantastic dinner, and the view is stunning. Our server, Parker, was a true professional.
Disappointed that Sunday brunch transformed to buffet. Typically do not equate buffets with fine dining. Will continue to support evening dining but will go back to One Ocean for fine dining Sunday brunch experience at the beach
The Good: Nice atmosphere and very cordial, friendly staff. Menu is somewhat limited but some creative options made it interesting. We were celebrating my wife's birthday, so wanted to go someplace special. Needs Work: bottom line all of our food came out cold. Lobster bisque: Delicious and big chunks of lobster, but it was slightly above room temperature. Filet mignon: came out cold my wife had to send it back for re heat, which then overcooked the steak. Truffle mashed potatoes had a tiny hint of truffle flavor, could have been better. Lamb Chops: flavors were great. Well seasoned. very creative berry sauce and the cashew bread pudding was unusual in a good way.... but... food arrived cold. Service: server was incredibly nice, but... forgot about wife's martini we were not provided with soup spoons with the bisque, had to ask for them we said we wanted to order wine to have with entrees. Server came over after we were already halfway done with aforementioned cold food, asking if we wanted wine. Entrees arrived at table via runner, cold, and we were not provided steak knives. I had to get up and ask the bartender for them. Server was busy with a table of 8 that came in after us, so maybe that accounts for the lapse in service. Making it right: to their credit we told server about our dilemmas with the cold food and whatnot. She got the manager, who took the bisques off the bill, also offered to cook me some new lamb chops but we were already eating and I hate to waste food, so i politely declined. They also provided a complimentary piece of cake to say happy birthday. Again, everyone was extremely nice and courteous. Hopefully this was just an off night. In the end we dropped $200 for tasty but, sadly, cold food.
Michael was an outstanding server. We’ll go back for his service , the view and amazing food.
