Happened to be in Jackson and stumbled onto this place. What a gem. Quaint but welcoming and the quality of the food is great. Prices are modest so this is a great deal for mid week dinner or even casual weekend dinning. We had the burrito and the chorizo quesadilla and they were both excellent. Portion sizes great and the staff was prompt and courteous. If your in the area stop in, you won?t be disappointed.

Good choice for Mexican Cuisine. We ordered Guacamole, seafood soup, Bistek ala Mexicano and churros. All came out good but we enjoyed the Seafood Soup the most. Good service and ambience is nice too.

Excellent meal. Wait staff was great. I have a very strict way of eating. Our waiter was very patient and helpful with my questions. Everything came out as we ordered. I had the carne asada platter. Beef ribs and sausage comes on it. The ribs were great, sausage was good, steak, a little dry. But the platter comes with a side of cactus and when to put the 2 together, it's great. I also got a 2nd meal. Mole chicken... Outstanding. Now take a fork full of cactus and the steak, dip it into the mole sauce, OH MY.... that combination should be on the menu... hell, just give me a side BOWL of mole sauce !!! We are going back soon....

Picked up some catering for a party this weekend and La Casa de la Tia went above and beyond. The food was incredible everybody loved it especially the Empanadas. They gave so much food and sides for the price we were shocked. Everyone working there is so nice and the restaurant is impeccably clean. We highly recommend trying them out!

Here you will find a very extensive variety of Mexican food and too good to be honest. I am Mexican and I recognize a good taste of our food. I highly recommend it, the food, the service and the establishment.
