Bidra med feedbackMediocrity at best. By no means is this place a “fine dining” establishment. Despite it being a Friday night, service was cold and unattentive. Just like a disappointing first date, Coelette attempts to impress with its facade of contemporary decoration, however after five minutes you slowly realize what a sham this place is. It seems like the executive chef is a fan of Marco Pierre White from the 1990s. You will find watercress on every plate for no apparent reason. Appetizers: Terrine: Good. Carrots: Undercooked and spicy for no reason. Bread Butter: Best dish of the night. Sad! Drinks: Good. We had the wolf pup and old fashion Main course: Black rice: TERRIBLE. Acidic and mushrooms were RAW. Lamb: at least the pasta was homemade. Nonna makes it 1000x better. Overall: come here after you tried Snake River Grill and run out of all other options.
Food, drinks, and service were one of the top meals I've had around the world. Our group enjoyed the knowledge shared by the staff, pacing of the meal, and atmosphere. Would highly recommend Coelette's for anyone looking for an amazing dining experience while in Jackson. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
All the servers and hosts were friendly and cool. We have found customer service in Jackson to be really bad and the staff at Coelette reminded us that a few good ones exist. We would highly recommend this place. The menu was creative and affordable.
This is an adorable restaurant spot in the heart of town. It has a very upscale log cabin feel if you can imagine that. Service was awesome attentive without feeling rushed with great knowledge of the menu and how the food is prepared so we could make the best dinner choices. The mushroom appetizer and sauce was AMAZING. Definitely order a side of bread so you can dip it in the scrumptious sauce. I had the sturgeon which I never tried before but will definitely get again. It was light and flaky and moist. The side of corn was a tasty accompaniment and could easily stand on its own as an entree for vegetarians. The pistachio cake was flavorful delicious the perfect size after a filling dinner.
Coellete is not special. The sturgeon was good, but not so with our chanterelle appetizer or steak. The so called chanterelle app was done with a lightly fried egg, but ended up being 6 very small chanterelles and a huge overconsuming egg. Spiced perfectly, so the egg was good, but where were the mushrooms? The steak was cooked to a perfect, just less than medium rare, but was tough. You don't expect tough and chewy from this kind of restaurant. Wouldn't go back.
