Sunset Grille - Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo

It seems like not as good as in the previous visits. The onion soup was not as good as in the past. The chicken is good but the shrimp was alright.

Patricia Carrion is the real star at this restaurant as she sings jazz with a Latin Ella Fitzgerald style a real treat!! Oh, and the restaurant is open air and there is an incredible view. And then there are the very good table side Caesar salads and flambé desserts and meals don 't see that very much anymore. Service is slow generally, and when it gets busy, the flambé guy/manager needs to spread the joy around a little more as he gets noticeably crabby with his underlings. But the singing, beautiful view and Caesar Salad, almost makes you forget.

We and another couple that we met here in Zihuatanejo had dinner here last night . Service was happy, fun and enjoyable . They make an amazing Caesar salad at table side , very good ! They also flambé many of their dishes at table side , we have Tequila prawn and curry prawns. Nicely butterfly cut , but the sauce wasn't to our liking . We should have just ordered plain garlic butter ones. Our friends had beef stroganoff and thoroughly enjoyed it . Prices are reasonable and view is very lovely of the bay . Live music was also a very nice touch . We would recommend having dinner here for sure .

I had the mole enchiladas. Husband had porkloin with a pimento pepper. It was good great atmosphere. I ordered a Spanish coffee. It took awhile to get that due to them getting busy. Enjoyed our meal.

Great views, great food! Loved the Ceasar salad prepared table-side; seafood selections were also delicious! Atmosphere was quiet and laid-back. Service was a bit slow, but the wait staff was courteous and the food was worth the wait. We will definitely visit this restaurant again!
