Bidra med feedbackGreat spot. authentic kansas city style ribs and brisket. was a welcome change from the buffet in all inclusive. the owner is super and great to chat with. probably the best meal I have in mexiko hoad. I felt like home. cheap beer.
We went here for a delicious eating of ripening! service was excellent! sa and ate and drank and watched the British. perfection!
Happy hour drinks were awesome and the meals were excellent. We ate here a couple of times and enjoyed visiting with the Canadian owners. The entertainment that was there on both nights was excellent!
We ordered a big meal pesos, x Rack of ribs, chicken, Pull pork, chili bowl, this was supposed to feed people. We were disappointed with this, it was to much calcined. The chicken was very dry and canonized, and there is...no way we had half a chicken. Pull pork plate comes with taco shell, those cost nothing, why only You could barely see any BBQ sauce on the pulled pork. We had to ask for additional BBQ sauce, and they brought us like tablespoon of sauce for peoples.... What the hell, this is a BBQ place, we should not have to ask for BBQ sauce and when we do it should be enough for everyone at the table, they are cheaping out on BBQ sauce in a Smoke BBQ place, good lord.... With the Chili bowl, you had pieces of garlic bread, again cheaping out on bread, then we ask for some tortillas chips, to eat with the chili, here in Ixtapa most restaurant give you a basket of those for free, they charge pesos and there was like chips laid down in a flat plate, what a shame again cheaping out in the wrong places. The server told us wine was for the bottle, comes out on the invoice at Only the Ribs had enough BBQ sauce on them, and the taste was good for Ixtapa, they are not baby back ribs, but they are pretty tasty. The chill was amazing, but then you are left out without tortillas chips and bread to eat it, so you just eat it like soup. I guess that is the common thing to do here in Mexico. My recommendation is that you guys stop cheaping out on sides like bread, tortillas, tortillas chips, and most importantly on BBQ sauce, your sauce is amazing you should be able to add as much as you like on your meat.
Food was ok, waiter was great, owners had a bit of an attitude. Meals came out before the appetizers, the owner just pretty responded that that was the way it was in Mexico
