That was a good experience. The restaurant had many traditional Turkish dishes available and well made. The service was smooth and the staff was polite. The elements on the menu had pictures that helped – as we do not know many of the dishes. They have outdoor seats and a very nice view of the water near mosques. Note – if you sit outside in the evening, it can become colder windy. We noticed several parties who decided to sit outside, just ask for a new table to sit inside.

The food and service are very good. Typical/traditional Turkish meals along with well-prepared steaks, salads, dips and spreads. The views however are spectacular. You have the most amazing overlook of both the Blue mosque and Hagia Sophia as well as the sea and surrounding city. Absolutely make sure you come in time for sunset. You are here for the view, coming at night when it is dark- you might as well be anywhere. We were a group of 10 and they managed the large table beautifully.

I had booked a table for two for my wife and myself for 21:45, in the event we arrived a bit earlier at 21:30. When I made the booking I had the option of booking up to and including 22:30 on this app, however when we arrived we were told that we would have to be quick as the kitchen closes at 22:30. We were only half way through our starters when the waiters tried to take our food away from us and bring in the main courses. We pointed out that we had actually arrived earlier than our reservation and that they were taking bookings on this app until 22:30. They tried to argue over this point with us until I opened the app to show them. Very unprofessional on the part of the restaurant and Open Table. Time to get your act together guys. The food was nice but nothing special, unfortunately the whole f**k up on the service front ruined our evening. Mistakes can happen but they handled it very poorly indeed. I will not be recommending this restaurant.
