Bidra med feedbackGreat food, but ready to share. We have the 409 Tri Power Burger and it was delicious! And big enough to share and feel full, but not filled. It tasted great, but it is creepy, so make sure that napkins have on hand (they are at your table). Service was good, but not great. Pretty much check-in to order, make food and collect money. Not much interaction, but that was good. Also cash is only prepared. You have a money machine if you need it.
Wow... This place is more of a destination than an every week kind of place. My husband used to go here as a kid and has fond memories, so on a trip across the mountain, we decided to stop in for dinner. Not one of us finished our meal. As you will see in my photos, the burgers here are HUGE!!! And the fries and onion rings you get with them are plentiful. Our burgers averaged about $17 each the fries came with it, but add ons like cheese were a bit extra and upgrading to onion rings was too . A couple of us had milkshakes 8.75 for a regular which was also huge and they were AMAZING. My chocolate peanut butter shake could have been a meal in itself. It was also beautifully presented. The root beer floats were also good $8.25ish for a small . The root beer there is so very good! And they serve it in frosty cold mugs. My husband didn 't check the menu, and our son just let us know that the large root beer my husband ordered cost $11!! ? Okay... I 'm all over the place right now. So I 'll boil it down. The food and the service the people were some of the friendliest I 've met at a fast food place in the recent past both completely deserve 5 stars. The only thing we would warn you is that it adds up quickly, and truly we could have bought 2 burgers for the 4 of us and we would have all been very full. There might even have been leftovers. But I would definitely say that if you are up for an experience, this is your place. We will go back, but we will be a lot more cautious on how much we order.
Holy smokes. Largest burger I've ever had. I could only make it through about 85% of it in one sitting, and even then I was pushing it. The root beer is made with real cane sugar, and they serve it in massive frosted mugs. The floats looked bonkers, but I felt like I had my work cut out for me just with the burg, and I was right. Arrive hungry, and with cash. No debit or credit accepted, but they do have an ATM. The gentleman at the cash was so kind and sweet, especially to our young son. He was joking around, did a little magic trick, and gave my son a little bouncing ball. So sweet. Loved visiting this classic diner and challenging my appetite with their Uber burgers.
First thing, share the burger. I can eat a lot and I could not finish the burger, (that is based on size, not taste). I almost ate the whole thing because of the taste. So, so good. My daughter and I both ordered the 'Low Rider ' burger and a Root Beer, of course. I would probably eat here once a week if it was not over 1500 miles away. Next time I am in the area, this spot will be on my itinerary. Really cool, 50 's style, diner. It is definitely worth going out of your way to eat here.
The place is both an experience and good food. The portions as huge so be prepared to share or take some home. I notice the place is also fairly clean for having so much stuff on their walls, that is always good. We ordered a root beer and it was pretty good, it was a bit sweeter than normal store bought root beer. The burgers as you can see in my photos come with individual ketchup packages, but you ask staff for more or for ranch.
