Bidra med feedbackI took 2 of my girlfriends there to eat and listen to HFB band. Food was real good. Our Waitress was super nice. Little crowded on the dance floor but fun.
Meant to post this quite some time ago...felt it was important enough to post after-the-fact; Went to Vino Bella last night for 'date night '....service was good, wine was tasty, food was delicious, crowd/vibe was cool with a good band playing. So why am I rating them with only one star? When we got the bill we noticed that we 'd been up-charged for two additional glasses of wine (one extra Terra Blanca and one extra Dashwood....see picture ....and trying to get this resolved turned into a weird and uncomfortable situation.... The owner happened to be walking near our table so I got his attention and explained the discrepancy, he asked for us to wait a moment and came back with the bartender who was a bit aggressive with questioning the discrepancy (not sure why they didn 't first talk to waitress since she was probably the one that added the two extra glasses of wine to the bill... After a lot of back-and-forth between the bartender and owner with raised voices to hear above the band, they FINALLY took the extra charges off the bill... This situation really did not need to escalate into what it became, it could have easily and quickly been resolved with the owner and bartender (or waitress apologizing and taking the extra charges off the bill....but this is not how things played out....I really don 't understand why they had so much pushback towards us for a mistake that THEY made!! It doesn 't make sense... I 've heard of establishments accidentally on purpose adding non-existent costs to patrons bills to make extra profit (in the hopes that the customer does not look closely at bill and question the discrepancy ....I certainly hope that Vino Bella is not one of those types of places, but I honestly do not know.... IF YOU HAPPEN TO GO TO VINO BELLA MAKE SURE TO LOOK CLOSELY AT YOUR BILL....
I hate to do this. I know the owner, Claude. He 's a good guy. But his servers are extremely rude. I went there last week to see a live band. My preferred whiskey (Seagrams 7) was not on the list. My next choice (Jameson) had just sold out! Instead of offering alternatives and/or offering whatever for the cost of a Jameson, my server smugly stood there waiting for my order. I didn 't recognize ANY of their whiskey choices. Ok, so I asked the server what bottled or canned beers they have. I ordered a BOTTLE of Peroni. I got a glass of beer. I waited a long while to tell the server that I didn 't order this. No dice. Finally, I walked out. The server chased me to the door claiming I didn 't pay for my drink. I was mortified! I never even touched the glass. Not even a sip! If my employees EVER treated my Customers like this, I 'd fire them on the spot!!!!
Cute place for some good wine and live music. In the back there is a bar. There were people watching the football game. Although the wine bar opens at 2:30 pm , they do not serve any food until 4:30pm!
Great little place, makes you feel like you're in a cool alley bar in England. Nice wines, and the bruschetta I thought was a good appetizer. They also do live music, but is a little loud for the small space, but still great to see live music.
